New Hampshire Property Tax Rates
MOST RECENT REAL ESTATE TAX RATES (2012) FOR HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY IN SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE
The following is a list of property tax rates for Hillsborough County in Southern NH. Each town in Southern NH has a property tax rate that is computed on a percentage of value of the property. For example Milford NH had a mill rate of $32.16 in 2005 but it was based on 57% of the value of the property; therefore the "equalized" property tax rate is actually $18.33. You will need to compare equalized rates to get a true comparison of town property tax rates in New Hampshire. The tax rates are set by the town in the Fall. Equalization rates for 2012 are not available as of the writing of this article.
