New Hampshire Property Tax Rates

MOST RECENT REAL ESTATE TAX RATES (2009) FOR HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY IN SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE

The following is a list of property tax rates for Hillsborough County in Southern NH. Each town in Southern NH has a property tax rate that is computed on a percentage of value of the property. For example Milford NH had a mill rate of $32.16 in 2005 but it was based on 57% of the value of the property; therefore the "equalized" property tax rate is actually $18.33. You will need to compare equalized rates to get a true comparison of town property tax rates in New Hampshire. The tax rates are set by the town in the Fall.
