Merrimack NH Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony, Sunday December 4th
 The Town of Merrimack’s Parks and Recreation Department
and the Merrimack Chamber of Commerce announced that the annual
Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place on Sunday,
December 4, 2011, beginning at 3:00 PM.
The parade route will begin at The Commons Shopping Plaza.
Traveling down Daniel Webster Hwy we will continue south finishing at
Abbie Griffin Park where Santa and Mrs. Claus will meet with the
children to hear their wishes and the Tree Lighting Ceremony will begin!
Join in the fun as we kick off the Holiday season! All citizens, organizations, and businesses are welcome to participate.
The theme for this year’s parade is “A Tree-mendous Holiday”. A rain date of Sunday, December 11, 2011, has been set.
They are accepting donations of non-perishable food items for anyone wishing to donate to the local food pantry
This is a great opportunity to get out, get in the Holiday Spirit and spend some time with friends neighbors in Merrimack.
