Bedford NH has a pilot Kindergarten program that is self funded and is being embraced by residents. Families living in Bedford NH homes have access to the program.

ways to care for their children. In Bedford, however, an
innovative new program is making it a bit easier.
Bedford has a pilot Kindergarten program called K-Plus which allows kids to stay after the session ends. Students
participate in recess and lunch with the first-graders and enjoy
activities such as art, music, and physical education.
Families living in Bedford NH homes , has 20 kindergartners in the program and the program costs around $500 a month.
The program is great for kids, allowing them to play and interact with others all with the full day structure.
The school board easily approved the program, especially since the program would not cost taypayers money.
There are discussions about expanding the program into all 3 of Bedford's schools.
