Amherst NH Village, Concerts on The Village Green
The Recreation Department is
happy to announce that it will again sponsor a mini concert series this
summer.

We hope that you will join us as we enjoy lively music on the
Village Green (Spalding Field for the Block Party). The concerts begin
at 6:30pm except where noted and you’re invited to come early, bring a
picnic, chairs or a blanket, find a spot to dine, and settle in to be
entertained. In the event of rain, an alternate location for the
concert will be posted on our website and on Facebook the day of the
concert.
June 19 - Teddy Bear Picnic Concert-5:30pm followed by the Amherst Town Band at 7PM
Rick Goldin’s performances feature singing with guitar accompaniment,
puppets, movement activities, child-participation, and lots of silliness
and fun for the whole family. Children are encourage to invite their
teddy bears (or any stuff animal) so that they can enjoy the concert
with them.
June 26 - Beatle Tracks-6:30pm
Beatle Tracks is a Beatles tribute group based in Massachusetts. Beatle
Tracks is known for its quality musicianship and renditions true to the
original artists. We have the original Beatles to thank for sharing
their genius and talent with the world. It is their passion that drives
Beatle Tracks to keep their music alive.
July 10 - Mink Hills Band-6:30pm
The Mink Hills Band is a New Hampshire based acoustic band whose
selection of music includes Bluegrass, Swing, Folk, and Original
compositions. The stylistic range of material provides for an
interesting and varied musical experience.
July 17 – Amherst Town Band-7pm
This outstanding community band performs public concerts consisting of a
wide range of instrumental compositions, such as classical, show tunes,
big band, marches, polkas, contemporary and novelties music.
August 21 - WZID Block Party-5pm (Spalding Field)
These concerts do not require pre-registration. We hope to see you on the Green!
